This week at market come and try our Honeycrisp Apple Chips! They are made by dehydrating slices of this fine apple until the perfect crispness is reached-- and no sugar added! They make a great healthy snack, and kids love them, too. $2.00 for a small bag and $5.00 for a large bag.Our 3L pasteurized Apple Cider has returned! $7.00 for a box that doesn't need to go in the fridge until opened. Blended with Honeycrisp Apples, the flavour of this juice is wonderful, and different than our fresh cider-- so give it a try!
This week also marks the start of a new Community Shared Agriculture season at TapRoot Farms. Both the Hammonds Plains Farmer's Market and the Partners For Care VG/QEII Market are CSA pickup spots this year. We look forward to seeing lots of familiar faces as well as some new ones this week!
Fully stocked on over a dozen apple varieties, root veggies, cukes and tomatoes from den Haan, cut turnip & squash and pea shoots this week as well-- so make sure you do your fresh produce shopping at the market this week!
